The new standard

Built to millimeters.
Measured the same way.

A 2024 crossover and a 2004 sedan look similar from the curb. Underneath, they have almost nothing in common.

The car in your driveway is a mix of boron steel, ultra high strength steel, aluminum, structural adhesive, and rivets, joined in an order the manufacturer specifies and will not let you improvise. Your bumper cover hides radar. Your windshield holds a forward facing camera. Your mirrors watch the lane next to you.

So the old way of working stopped being good enough. Pulling a car until it looks straight and sending it out the door ignores the part that matters most: whether the structure will still fold the way the engineer designed it to fold the next time something goes wrong.

That's the whole argument for how we work. Measure it, repair it to the written procedure, then prove it with a document you can keep.

Precision you can see

Technology finds what the eye can't see.

A quarter panel can look perfect while the rail behind it sits a few millimeters off. Measurement is how that gets caught before it becomes your problem.

More than a body shop

We handle the repair.
We help manage everything around it.

The repair is the part we control. The rest of it, the claim, the rental, the phone tag, is the part that actually wears people down.

So we took it over. You get one advisor with a name and a direct line, and that person stays with your file until you have your keys back.

What that looks like

You drop the car off. You get a text when teardown is done and we know what's really broken. You get another when parts land, another when it goes in the booth, and a call when it's ready. If your adjuster needs something, we call them, not you.

The concierge file

  1. One advisor, start to finishSame person, same number, every time you call. No queue, no re explaining the accident.
  2. Insurance communicationWe write the estimate, file supplements when teardown finds more, and argue the technical points with the adjuster so you don't have to.
  3. Rental coordinationWe line the rental up against the repair schedule so you're not paying for days you don't need.
  4. Photo updates you can actually readProgress sent to your phone at the moments that matter, in plain language.
  5. Pickup and deliveryFor customers who can't spend a workday sorting out a car.
  6. Delivery walkthroughWe hand back the paperwork, the scan and calibration reports, and walk the panels with you in daylight before you sign.

Inside the repair

Seven stages. One standard.

01

Assessment

We photograph the vehicle, pull the VIN build data, and write a first estimate. This is the visible damage only, and we say so out loud. Nobody can see behind a bumper cover from the parking lot.

VIN build dataPhoto documentation
02

Digital measurement

The car goes on the bench. We scan every module for stored faults, then measure the structure electronically and compare each point to the manufacturer's dimensions. What comes out is a report, not an opinion.

Pre repair scanStructural measurement
03

Structural repair

We pull to the measurement, not to the eye. Where the manufacturer says a section gets replaced instead of straightened, it gets replaced, at the seam they specify, with the weld or adhesive they specify.

OEM proceduresSectioningCorrosion protection
04

Refinishing

Color is mixed to the code, then sprayed out on a test card and checked against your panel in real light before anything else happens. Sealed, based, cleared, cured, then polished. Blends are mapped so the repair disappears into the panel next to it.

Spray out verificationBlend mapping
05

Calibration

Forward cameras, radar, blind spot modules and parking sensors get aimed and verified using the factory procedure for that specific vehicle. Static, dynamic, or both, depending on what the manufacturer requires.

06

Quality control

Post repair scan to confirm every module is clean. Alignment set and road tested. Panel gaps, closures and finish checked in daylight by someone who did not do the work, because the person who did it stops seeing it.

Concierge delivery

The car is detailed, the file is closed with your insurer, and your advisor walks the vehicle with you. You leave with the scan reports, the calibration documentation, and a repair record worth keeping for resale.

Craftsmanship

The part technology can't do

Measurement tells you where the metal has to end up. Getting it there is still a trade, learned slowly, by hand.

From impact to immaculate

Drag it. That's the whole difference.

On the left, a structure carrying deviation after an impact. On the right, the same vehicle brought back to factory geometry and confirmed by measurement.

Drive forward.

Three words that decide what we do when nobody is watching: put the car back the way the engineer drew it, keep the safety systems honest, and get you back on the road without another headache.

Insurance, in plain language

Your claim. Your car. Your choice of shop.

In Colorado, the person who owns the vehicle picks the repair facility. Your insurer can recommend a shop from its network and can tell you what it will pay. Where the car gets fixed is still your call.

We work with every major carrier and we'll handle the file either way. What we won't do is let a repair get shortened because a line item was easier to leave off the estimate.

IfThe accident wasn't your fault
File through the other driver's carrier, or through yours and let them recover it. Either way you can bring the car here. Call us before you agree to a drive-in estimate at a claims center.
IfYou have a high deductible
Get a written estimate first. On smaller damage, the repair cost can land close enough to the deductible that a claim isn't worth the premium impact. We'll tell you when that's the case.
IfThe estimate came from a photo app
Expect it to change. Photo estimates catch visible damage only. Once the car is apart we document what's actually broken and send a supplement with the evidence attached.
IfYour insurer suggests a preferred shop
That's a recommendation, not a requirement. Ask who is responsible for the repair if something goes wrong later, then decide.
IfIt's hail and half your neighborhood is filing
Get in line early. Storm season backs up every shop on the Front Range. Bring us photos and we'll tell you what's likely repairable without paint.
Watch out for

An estimate that skips the pre repair scan, the post repair scan, or the calibration on a vehicle that needs one. Those aren't upsells. They're how the manufacturer says the car has to be put back together, and skipping them is how a car leaves a shop with a camera pointing at the wrong part of the road.

Serving the Denver metro

Colorado roads are unpredictable.
Your repair shouldn't be.

Denver hands vehicles a specific kind of abuse. Spring hail that arrives in fifteen minutes. Gravel and mag chloride on I-70 all winter. Sixty degree temperature swings that work every seam on a car. Merges on I-25 where two lanes become one and somebody is always surprised.

We repair what those conditions do, for drivers across the metro and the foothills communities that commute into it.

Questions people actually ask

Before you call anyone

Do I have to use the shop my insurance company recommends?

No. In Colorado the vehicle owner picks the repair facility. An insurer can recommend a shop from its network and can tell you what it will pay, but the choice of who does the work belongs to you. Tell your adjuster you're using Colorado Collision Repair and we'll take the file from there.

How long does a collision repair take?

It depends on what teardown finds and how fast parts arrive. A bumper cover with one sensor can move quickly. Structural work with a calibration and a tri coat refinish takes longer.

We give you a target date after teardown, once the hidden damage is documented, instead of guessing on day one and moving the date three times.

What is ADAS calibration and does my car need it?

ADAS covers the systems that watch the road for you: forward cameras, radar, blind spot sensors, parking sonar, lane keeping. If your vehicle has them and we replaced or moved the part they mount to, or changed ride height or alignment, the manufacturer requires a calibration afterward.

We follow the factory procedure for your specific vehicle and hand you the documentation when it's done. More on calibration.

Will you work with my insurance company?

Yes. We write the estimate, send supplements when teardown reveals more damage, communicate directly with your adjuster, and keep you copied on the decisions that affect your out of pocket cost. You're not the messenger between two companies.

Do you repair hail damage?

Yes. Most Front Range hail is repaired with paintless dent repair, which keeps the factory finish on the car. Panels with cracked paint, stretched metal, or damage sitting on a body line get conventional repair and refinishing instead.

We tell you which panels fall in which category before work starts, not after.
